Strong Aldofos is an awesome cafe we visited near Wadebridge, they do THE BEST breakfasts and killer coffee and cake. If you’re ever nearby its definitely worth a visit - it’s situated in a little collection of family-run establishments (art gallery, vintage store, homeware shop) all of which are full of beautiful goodies.

Whilst we were in Plymouth we had a little look around the Plymouth Gin Distillery - also well worth a trip if you haven’t been already, £7 for a tour, a taste and a G&T to finish off!

Whilst we were in Cornwall we took the opportunity to make a music video for Sam’s outrageously talented sister Naomi. We waited for the rain clouds to roll in and, armed with the MōVI, A7sii and a couple of giant umbrellas, headed down to the beach to try for a one-take-wonder.

Play back is always a bit of an issue on location for music video shoots when you have to negotiate large PA systems and noisy generators; so the Bose Soundlink Mini has always been a great asset for us when we’re out and about. It packs a punch and, as it’s wireless, we were able to mount it directly onto the MōVI to ensure that the music was always within close proximity to the talent and camera to help with the sync in post.
